The King James Version is the best version to use. The other versions are all based on a few corrupted texts and have changed some of the scriptures. In doing so they have changed the meaning of some of the verses, thereby changing the word of God.
All of the newer translations are based on corrupt manuscripts from Egypt (Alexandria), and also a few others found in the trash of a monastery at the base of Mount Sinai. None of the reformers used these and rejected them completely.
The King James Version is based on over 5000 manuscripts from multiple continents that all agree with each other.
Examples of some of the changes are below. If you look carefully you can see these changes were done on purpose to alter the meaning to agree with false doctrine:
KJV: …yet in my flesh shall I see God.
Job 19:26
ASV: …then without my flesh shall I see God.
KJV: And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Luke 4:4
GNT: But Jesus answered, The scripture says, Human beings cannot live on bread alone.
NIV: Jesus answered, It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone.
KJV: For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
2 Corinthians 2:17
NIV: Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit…
NKJV: For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God…
Note: The KJV is public domain and may be freely quoted from. Most translations other than the KJV may be quoted in any form (written, visual, electronic or audio), up to and inclusive of 500 verses without express written permission of the publisher, provided the verses do not amount to a complete book of the Bible nor do the verses quoted account for 25 per cent or more of the total text of the work. The Good News Translation (GNT) allows up to 1000 verses.
