Paul clearly taught that we are to keep the commandments. What distinguishes the righteous from the unrighteous? Their thoughts, words, and actions:
For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Romans 2:13
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Romans 3:31
Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
1 Corinthians 7:19
Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
Ephesians 6:2,3
That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
First in Damascus and in Jerusalem and then in the whole country of Israel and among the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.
