In parallel with this, and before everyone’s fate is decided for eternity, God will work through His people to send out one final message to the entire world:
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Revelation 14:6-9
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
How can we ensure we do not receive the mark of the beast, and receive the Seal of God instead? Just a few short verses down, God tells us:
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 14:12
This is not a new message, it’s the same message that has been given since the dawn of time and the creation of man. It is the everlasting gospel. Believe and trust in Jesus, our sacrificial lamb. He died in our place, rose from the dead, and gives us power from on high to stop sinning and keep God’s commandments:
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecclesiastes 12:13,14
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Matthew 19:16,17
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
