The Mark of the Beast – Page 5

History has a tendency of repeating itself. God allowed the Jewish nation to be destroyed by Babylon and the Jewish people carried away into captivity because of their rebellion and unbelief. Ezekiel describes how they had turned away from God and were worshipping the sun:

And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

Ezekiel 8:16

At the very end it will be the same. Everyone will have to choose a side. They will either worship God, by keeping His commandments, including the Seventh Day Sabbath, or they will worship Satan, by breaking God’s commandments and keeping the first day of the week – Sunday, the day of the sun.

Notice the parallels between the end of time described in Revelation and the Seventh Day Sabbath of the Ten Commandments in Exodus:

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Revelation 14:6

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exodus 20:11

This is not a coincidence. Everything written in the Bible is there for a reason.
