Has the way of Salvation changed from the Old to the New Testament?

No. People Before Christ (B.C.) looked forward in faith, and people After His Death (A.D.) look back in faith.

Old Testament:

And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering.

Genesis 4:4

Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats…

Exodus 12:5

And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Numbers 21:9

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Ecclesiastes 12:13

New Testament:

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 1:29

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:14,15

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Matthew 19:17

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
